JACKSONVILLE, Fla.–—In another sign that cryptocurrency is moving mainstream, the number-one pick in this year’s National Football League draft has chosen to take his first payment of cryptocurrency—and could take additional payments in crypto, as well.

COLUMBUS, Ohio—The $1.2-billion Telhio Credit Union said it has extended its long-term partnership with payments services provider Elan Financial Services. As a result, Elan will continue to provide Telhio’s 70,000 consumer and business members with industry-leading credit card products, the company said.
