CHICAGO –– Despite a year in which institutions insured by the FDIC reported a nearly 30% increase in net income, financial institution CFOs who say they are “very confident” in their institutions’ abilities to manage the financial impact of evolving business circumstances dropped to just 22% in 2018 from 35% the previous year, according to a new report.

WINDSOR LOCKS, Conn.–Windsor Locks FCU has named a new CEO. The credit union has selected Charla Stetson, who previously serviced as VP-operations and member services, to lead the organization. Stetson succeeds John E. Franco, Jr., who retired.

ELDORA, Iowa–Two Iowa credit unions have merged. The $2.9-million ETS Credit Union, founded to serve the Eldora Training School, has been absorbed by the $168-million Members1st Credit Union in Marshalltown, Iowa.
