WASHINGTON—The Federal Trade Commission is seeking public comment on a proposal to conduct a survey to determine the prevalence of consumer fraud in the United States during 2016.

WASHINGTON–Personal income increased $23.7 billion, or 0.2%, and disposable personal income (DPI) increased $23.7 billion, or 0.2%, in February, according to the Bureau of Economic Analysis. Personal consumption expenditures (PCE) increased $11.0 billion, or 0.1%. In January, personal income increased $72.7 billion, or 0.5%, DPI increased $57.2 billion, or 0.4%, and PCE increased $10.7 billion, or 0.1%, based on revised estimates.
