YORKTOWN, Va. — Saying it is seeking to foster professional growth and personal development, 1st Advantage FCU has launched 1st Advantage University.
The credit union said by addressing both professional and personal growth areas, the University aims to support not only the 1st Advantage workforce in achieving holistic success, but also offer opportunities for members and the community.
According to 1st Advantage, courses will cover a broad spectrum of topics anchored by four pillars to include credit union training, financial wellness, leadership, and communication. Employees will have the flexibility to participate in courses that align with their interests and career aspirations. Financial wellness courses will also be offered to 1st Advantage members and the community, the credit union said.

Muse said in a statement. “At a time when many are grappling with job insecurities and financial concerns, we aim to provide our employees with growth opportunities and empower our workforce to not only excel in their roles but also lead fulfilling lives beyond the workplace.”
Several Delivery Channels
In addition to traditional classroom-style learning, the credit union said1st Advantage University classes will use various channels, including online modules, workshops, seminars, and guest speakers to accommodate diverse learning preferences and schedules.
