LAS VEGAS—To mark its 65th anniversary, One Nevada Credit Union is giving away $65 to one random winner every day for 65 days.
Entries can be submitted on the credit union’s Facebook page here.
One Nevada was founded in 1950 when nine people pooled $5 each to charter the CU; it opened with 77 members who had deposited $1,807 to get the credit union started as Vegas Air Base FCU. In 1958, the credit union changed its name to Nellis Federal Credit Union and then to Nevada Federal, before changing to the current name (and a state charter) in 2011.
“The credit union’s focus has always been our member-owners, and without them, we could not have remained so strong throughout the years and survived very tough economical conditions, said CEO Bradley Beal. “We are excited to celebrate 65 years and remain committed to provide the very best service, rates and products to our member-owners,” continued Beal.
The $730-million One Nevada Credit Union has 75,000 members.
