ATM Thieves Arrested

ODESSA, Texas—Three men have been arrested for a March 2014 ATM heist. The crooks allegedly used heavy machinery to rip an ATM out of the ground at a Complex Community FCU location. The men eventually abandoned their effort to get money out of the cash machine.

The Odessa American reported that the three suspects, Kelly Lee Harjo, 35, Jordan Reese Brashear, 25, and Steven Lee Holstead, 48, each face a charge of theft of credit union property, which carries a prison term of up to 10 years. The Odessa American cited indictment records indicating more than $100,000 in cash was inside the ATM when it was stolen. Police found the ATM in a field with the money still inside. The theft was captured on security cameras and can be seen at  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OSGVqgxYVEo.
