Allpoint Network Adds Five More Top 100 Credit Unions

HOUSTON—The Allpoint Network, the world’s largest surcharge-free ATM network, reported it welcomed five of the top 100 credit unions into its ranks in 2015 – bringing its total Top 100 credit union membership count to 24.

Allpoint is a wholly owned subsidiary of Cardtronics, Inc., which is the world's largest retail ATM owner/operator.

Helping financial institutions expand surcharge-free ATM access by 55,000 convenient retail ATMs in the U.S. and beyond, Allpoint established new relationships with a total of 84 financial institutions in 2015. Among those new FI relationships are five of the top 100 credit unions, together representing more than 2.03 million members, including:

  • Alaska USA Federal Credit Union
  • Keesler Federal Credit Union
  • Lake Michigan Credit Union
  • Langley Federal Credit Union
  • Teachers Federal Credit Union

“Financial institutions are moving to a self-service model where members can manage many of their day-to-day banking needs with mobile tools on their smartphones as well as online,” said Bill Knoll, managing director, Allpoint Network. “With self-service comes fewer branch visits and members increasingly expecting to be able to access their cash whenever and wherever they want without having to pay a surcharge fee. Allpoint makes it easy for FIs to instantly and cost-effectively meet this demand by offering their members thousands of surcharge-free ATMs, conveniently located at premier retailer locations.”
