INDIANAPOLIS—With the Final Four set in college basketball’s national championship tournament, the CUToday.info March Madness Brackets pool has a new leader: Patrick F. Harrigan, VP or regulatory compliance and general counsel with Service Credit Union in Portsmouth, N.H.
In the points system used by CBS Sports, which hosts the CUToday.info “CU in the Tourney” brackets, Harrigan is leading with a score of 158. That’s just one point ahead of Eric Schornhorst, the CFO with Michigan First Credit Union in Lathrup Village, Mich. Two people are tied for third place in the brackets pool: John Gregoire of The ProCon Group in Madison, Wis., and Ryan Garland of Coastal Credit Union in North Carolina (see leaders below).
The national championship game set for next week could be the tie-breaker: Harrigan and Garland have picked Wisconsin to win the game, while Schornhorst and Gregoire are going with the favorite, Kentucky.
CUToday.info Cooperator-in-Chief Frank J. Diekmann has graciously allowed his brackets to plummet in the rankings in order to be a good host.
