ASHEBORO, N.C.—A member did approximately $25,000 in damage to a branch of Truliant FCU here after becoming upset by the inability to make a withdrawal.
Police arrested Corey J. Brower, 26, following the incident. According to police, Brower broke windows and damaged computer equipment and other property after he attempted to withdraw money and was told he didn’t have access. He now faces two counts of injury to personal property, along with one count each of injury to real property and communicating threats. No one was injured.
