CUPERTINO, Calif.–The latest group of financial institutions approved for Apple Pay is once again dominated by credit unions.
The newest CUs to be going live with Apple Pay include Alaska USA FCU, Apple FCU, Changing Seasons FCU, Educational Systems FCU, Granite Credit Union, Great Basin FCU, Greater Texas FCU, Hoosier Hills Credit Union, Hughes FCU, iQ Credit Union, KEMBA Financial Credit Union, Landmark Credit Union, Mayo Employees FCU, MIDFLORIDA Credit Union, New England FCU, Town & Country FCU, Transportation FCU, True North FCU, USC Credit Union, Veridian Credit Union, and Western FCU.
More than a half-dozen banks were also approved, bringing the number of financial institutions offering Apple Pay to more than 300.
Meanwhile, Apple Pay will be going live in the U.K. in July with eight major banks participating.
