ALEXANDRIA, Va. – The Association of Credit Union Internal Auditors (ACUIA) will host its 26th Annual Conference and One Day Seminar in Reno, Nev., at the Peppermill Resort Hotel & Casino from June 21– 24, 2016.
The ACUIA One–Day Seminar and three–day conference provide an excellent way for both new and seasoned audit, risk and compliance professionals to interact and learn about the latest tools, techniques and regulatory updates, the ACUIA said.
This years’ agenda will include general session topics addressing, “What Are Your Rights Before, During and After an NCUA Exam?” presented by Bob Fenner, former general counsel for NCUA. Additional general session topics include ERM, fraud, compliance, cybersecurity, best audit practices and more.
Featured keynote speakers include Pulitzer Prize winning White House photographer David Hume Kennerly and Emmy Award winning TV personality Todd Newton, along with presenters from the NCUA, CUNA and others.
“We are particularly excited about enhancing this years’ conference with interactive sessions offering an even greater opportunity for attendees to network with their peers while participating in learning the latest on cutting edge topics,” said ACUIA Chairman John Gallagher.
Early bird discount registrations are available until April 30.
