At CUNA Mutual Member Live Event, Real Members Talk About 3 Shifts

WASHINGTON–Credit union leaders were joined with credit union members here as part of a Member Live event that was coordinated by CUNA Mutual Group.

The meeting, which took place in conjunction with CUNA’s GAC, was part of a broader effort related to the common purpose of serving members and helping to secure their financial futures, according to CUNA Mutual.

The Member Live event sought to explore three shifts in today’s American reality, and focused on how the changing faces of work, family, and Gen Z are affecting members’ financial needs. Ray Liberio and Armand Lockett shared how they approach finances as freelance workers. Jamesetta Fousek shared her perspective on how family dynamics influence needs; and Katie Berding and Kate Ballinger introduced the audience to Gen Z.

The goal was to offer CU leaders a deeper understanding of consumer preferences, attitudes and how they can reach more members in the future.
