CHARLEVOIX, Mich.—Members of the $179-million Bay Winds FCU have voted in favor of a merger with the $215-million, Traverse City, Mich.-based Members Credit Union.
Plans are to begin operating as a joint credit union in 2015. A new name is expected to be unveiled in the coming weeks. The merged CU will have 13 branches.
