WASHINGTON–CUNA’s Governmental Affairs Conference will have its first full day today, following an opening keynote last night and the opening of the exhibit hall.
Numerous other pre-meeting events have also been held in advance of what is the largest credit union conference of the year, with approximately 5,000 people in attendance overall.
The meeting launched last night with a keynote by author Daniel Pink, who has sold more than two-million copies of his books, including “A Whole New Mind,” “Drive,” and “To Sell is Human” (see related story in The Feature). Other speakers this week will include Lisa Bodell, Ted Koppel and a 2016 Elections Point-Counterpoint with Paul Begala and Mike Murphy. All three members of the NCUA board are scheduled to speak as are several U.S. senators and representatives.
CUToday.info will have full coverage throughout the week.
