TRAVERSE CITY, Mich.–The CEOs of three Michigan CUs are all appearing in a joint television commercial that promotes credit unions, including shared branching.
Appearing in the 30-second spot are Philip Heinlen, CEO of the $17-million Northwest Consumers FCU; Bob Raden, CEO of the $87-million Forest Area FCU, and Julie Rushing, CEO of $48-million Wexford Community CU.
The Michigan Monitor, a publication of the Michigan CU League, quoted Heinlen as saying, “Credit unions are the best kept secret. If we are truly a cooperative we have to tell people about what we do and who we are.”
“You’ll realize the best place to do your banking is at your local credit union,” says Rushing during the TV ad.
