CSE FCU Expanding FOM into Four New Counties

CANTON, Ohio–CSE FCU said NCUA has approved a field of membership expansion to serve anyone who lives, works (or regularly conducts business in), worships, attends school, or volunteers in Stark, Summit, Portage, Tuscarawas, and Carroll counties in Ohio.

Immediate family members of existing members are also eligible to join.

The $393-million CSE FCU, which has approximately 49,000 members and was chartered originally to serve school employees in Canton, Ohio, said the four new counties will give it the opportunity to serve more than 1.1 million people.

“Expanding our field of membership is more than a milestone, it’s a significant moment in time for our credit union and members as we solidify our future as one of Ohio’s best credit unions,” said President and CEO Bill Wittig in a statement. “Building strong relationships with our members has always been at our core; now we get to do that on an even larger scale.”
