CU*Answers To Add Remote Signatures To CU*Spy Online Vault

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.–As part of its ongoing effort to promote the values of the cooperative spirit, CU*Answers said it will roll out remote signatures to its CU*Spy online vault users free of charge, other than a small one-time setup fee to configure the forms the CU wants to use for e-signing.

This service will give its credit unions the ability to send documents to their members to sign loan closing forms from remote locations. Credit unions will be able to do this for any form they have programmed into the CUSO’s core processing platform, CU*BASE, and that is warranted in the CU*Spy vault.

“This is a huge enhancement for our credit unions,” said Mike Gruber, regional sales representative. “This will help many CUs compete against the larger institutions that are already providing this type of service. The fact that CU*Answers is providing this functionality at a baseline level for free to all its credit unions speaks to the CUSO philosophy of providing solutions at a low cost and avoiding up-front barriers to rolling out new products/services.”
