BISMARCK, N.D.–The Credit Union Association of the Dakotas announced it will be introducing a new “Member Engagement Program” for its affiliated credit unions.
The effort, the CUAD reported, has been in the works for more than a year and is designed to essentially be a rewards-type program based on how its affiliates engage with and use Association services.
“The program will include a multitude of services that your credit union may already be taking advantage of, but moving forward you will receive points for utilizing them,” said CUAD President/CEO Jeff Olson in a letter to member CUs. “For example, some of the services included will be structured on advocacy participation, regulatory and compliance; education and training; product and services; and support of initiatives and outreach programs.
The CUAD said credit unions with point totals scoring in the top 30% of each respective asset category will receive a monetary credit that is still to be determined to be used the following year toward League dues or forservices or conferences registrations.
Launch is planned for Jan. 1, 2016.
