HONOLULU—All three credit union-backed candidates in Hawaii have won their primaries and will continue on to the November elections, while four states are holding their primary elections this week – Connecticut, Minnesota, Vermont, and Wisconsin.
America’s Credit Unions said it worked with state leagues to support five candidates in Connecticut, seven candidates in Minnesota, one candidate in Vermont, and six candidates in Wisconsin.
The Minnesota Credit Union League and America’s Credit Unions are backing Minnesota State Senator Kelly Morrison (D) in her attempt to win the open seat left by retiring Rep. Dean Phillips (D), who is seeking another term in Congress.
