WASHINGTON—The Delaware, New Hampshire, and Rhode Island primary elections brought wins for all credit union-backed candidates this week, America’s Credit Unions reported.
There were six candidates supported by the America’s Credit Unions PAC and the Cooperative Credit Union Association, including:
- Rep. Lisa Blunt Rochester (D, DE) in her successful bid in the Senate Democratic primary to fill the seat of retiring Sen. Tom Carper (D)
- State Sen. Sarah McBride in the democratic primary to fill the House seat left open by Blunt Rochester
With the primary season now over, America’s Credit Unions reported CU-supported candidates won 326 of 329 races. Complete state-by-state results are available on the Credit Union Elections Hub, ACU noted.
