LIVONIA, Mich.—Jeremy Cybulski, youth and community development coordinator for Zeal Credit Union, will appear as a contestant on Wheel of Fortune on May 13.
Cybulski was chosen when the game show’s “Wheelmobile” stopped in Detroit in the summer of 2014 and he decided to try his luck. He was called for a second audition in August, and in February traveled to California for a taping of the show.
“Being on the show was an experience of a lifetime,” said Cybulski, who cannot reveal the show’s results until after it airs in May. “It’s tough not to be able to talk about it, and believe me, everyone wants to know—especially the kids at school.”
Because Cybulski is responsible for helping young students in elementary and middle school learn how to get an early start on managing their finances by saving and budgeting, he may be facing more questions should his TV appearance reveal he won money.
