AUSTIN, Texas—Credit unions got their first look at new watch banking apps during Catalyst Corporate’s Accelerating Success Conference here. Representatives from Malauzai Software gave live demos here of the company’s SmartApps, which include a recently launched watch banking app for use by the new Apple Watch.
Robb Gaynor, Malauzai’s chief product officer, led a session on mobile trends at the annual Catalyst Corporate event at which credit unions heard advice on how to keep up with today’s ever-changing mobile landscape and best practices in running successful mobile programs.
Two credit unions are currently offering the Apple Watch solution from Malauzai.
“Catalyst Corporate is a long-time Malauzai partner and we were thrilled that their credit unions were among the first to see the SmartwearApp live,” said Gaynor. “Wearables banking offers credit unions a strong opportunity to keep their brand in front of members and provide services that can’t be found elsewhere. We look forward to helping our joint Catalyst Corporate clients get to the face of the Apple Watch.”
“Catalyst Corporate’s Accelerating Success Conference is designed to expose credit unions to great thinking and great technology to position their institutions for future growth,” said Brad Ganey, Catalyst Corporate’s COO. “So we were especially delighted that Robb Gaynor was able to showcase this great new way that credit union members will be able to access mobile banking.”
