PLANO, Texas—Catalyst Corporate FCU will host a “2015 Blueprint for Success” video a video presentation on Jan. 9.
The presentation will include the corporate’s annual credit union economic outlook as a moderated panel discussion, addressing such topics as rates, credit risk, investments and regulatory concerns.
“Credit unions benefit from having information delivered in a dynamic, visual format,” said Mike McGinnis, Catalyst Corporate vice president of investment services. “We believe using video instead of a standard webcast, especially with this year’s panel discussion format, will make it more engaging and improve retention of the material…Of course, the most critical aspect of all of our educational programs is how relevant the information is to credit unions. Catalyst Corporate staff members have the ability to explain the connections between market and economic events and credit union balance sheets and operations. That’s hard to find anywhere else.”
The 2015 Blueprint for Success will include a discussion of how economic growth will impact member spending, loan growth projections, liquidity, investments and cost of funds, among other current issues.
The event will be broadcast Jan. 9 at 1 p.m. CT. Panelists include Steven Houle, Catalyst Strategic Solutions’ Director of Advisory Services, Mark DeBree, Catalyst strategic solutions’ director of ALM services, and Sarina Freedland, Catalyst Corporate senior investment officer.
