City of Boston Credit Union Names New CEO

SOUTH BOSTON–The City of Boston Credit Union has named a new president/CEO.

The $582-million CBCU has selected Lisa Perrin to lead the organization. Perrin most recently served as president and CEO of Worcester Credit Union.

“With over 25 years of experience in the financial services industry, Lisa brings a wealth of knowledge and a proven track record of success,” the credit union said in a statement. “She embodies genuine empathy towards strategy, innovation, and member satisfaction.”

The 33,000-member CU further said her focus on fostering a culture of accountability, professional development, and ethical behavior has led to notable outcomes, including asset size growth, improved efficiency and compliance ratings, and heightened profitability.

‘Positioned for Growth & Success’

"Through close collaboration with the board of directors and staff, I believe we will create and execute a vision that will position the City of Boston Credit Union for growth and success in an increasingly competitive and dynamic market,” Perrin said in a statement.

City of Boston CU added that during her time at Worcester Credit Union Perrin “initiated a transformation by introducing technological and cyber security enhancements, implementing rebranding efforts, and launching new products.”
