MERIDEN, Conn.–The Connecticut Credit Union League honored three people for their outstanding contributions to the CU Community during its annual meeting here. Board election results were also announced.
Honored during the event were:
- Marco Signorello, president/CEO, Hartford Municipal EFCU, who was named 2016 Connecticut Credit Union Outstanding Professional.

“It is outstanding to see the incredible efforts of Connecticut’s credit unions providing great member service, innovative marketing, and exemplary advocacy,” said Jill Nowacki, president/CEO of the league. “An appreciated change to our ceremony this year allowed award recipients to share with the audience some of the secrets to their success.”
Honored throughout the annual meeting was longtime league employee and credit union advocate Bob Powers, who is entering retirement. In his more than 20 years serving credit unions, Powers always sought the success of Connecticut’s CUs and the entire movement, the CULC said.
