GREENBELT, Md.–Chris Conway, president and CEO of Educational Systems FCU here, has been named president of the board of the Educational Credit Union Council.
The election took place during the ECUC’s annual meeting in Glendale, Ariz.
The ECUC is made up of credit unions serving the education community, including public school systems, community colleges and universities. It has approximately 90 CU members.
Conway was named to the ECUC board of directors in 2014 and served as vice president in 2015.
“I am honored to serve as the president of the ECUC board of directors,” said Conway in a released statement. “ECUC and its member credit unions share a common passion for our core purpose of serving the education community.”
