FARMERS BRANCH, Texas–The Cornerstone Credit Union League’s Community Investment Fund (CIF) Development Grant Fund reported it has distributed 27 grants totaling $76,450.
Among the grants awarded, some credit unions are applying their assistance toward costs associated with purchasing or implementing branch office and security equipment, planning sessions, branch capture, system conversions and upgrades, EMV card conversions, and various audits. The committee also awarded a grant to the Cornerstone Credit Union League’s Small Credit Union Committee to assist with Small Credit Union workshops and the Small Credit Union Conference, as well as the Young Professional Advisors to assist with the outreach and development of young professionals in the Cornerstone region, according to the Cornerstone League.
