SAN DIEGO–The only credit union-sponsored college bowl game—the San Diego County Credit Union Poinsettia Bowl—will be played today at 4:30 ET/1:30 PT.
The game pits the Boise State University Broncos (8-4) against the Northern Illinois University Huskies (8-5). It is the 11th consecutive year the credit union has sponsored the game, which this year will be followed for the first time by a fireworks display.
The game, which is being played at Qualcomm Stadium, will be broadcast on ESPN.
