PENOBSCOT, Maine—Brenda Davis has again begun her walk across Maine as part of a statewide effort with credit unions to raise funds to feed the hungry in this state.
Davis began her walk here at Penobscot County FCU, which made a $1,000 donation, and plans to walk through 83 communities in Maine. For the past 10 years the Maine Credit Unions’ Ending Hunger Walking Tour has raised more than $5.3 million for the cause.
