Attendees will walk away with customized resources to mobilize their teams and members, including tailored messaging for direct communication with senators and other decision-makers, DCUC said.

"With the Reconciliation Bill now moving to the Senate, DCUC is shifting into sprint mode," said DCUC Chief Advocacy Officer Jason Stverak.

“We are not out of the woods yet,” said Anthony Hernandez, DCUC president/CEO. “It’s critical that our industry presents a unified voice and consistent messaging during this pivotal time.”
The meeting will provide:
• Strategic guidance and real-time updates on the Reconciliation Bill’s progression
• Talking points and soundbites that can be replicated across stakeholder communications
• Grassroots advocacy tools and DCUC member sample letters for engaging with
legislators effectively

DCUC will also provide key issue briefings on:
• The GENIUS Act and the urgent need to keep the Credit Card Competition Act (CCCA) out of this package
• The Hawley-Sanders Bill, proposing a 10% cap on credit card interest rates
• The growing influence of the Illinois Interchange Law, which may begin spreading to other states

Simultaneously, DCUC is currently coordinating a joint trades and partners letter, with a draft scheduled for release by Wednesday, to reinforce the industry’s unified position.
