BOULDER, Colo.–The Elevations Foundation, the charitable arm of Elevations Credit Union, has changed its name and branding. It is now called the Local Change Foundation.
The credit union said the new name and accompanying branding showcase the foundation’s commitment to affecting change in communities across the Front Range of Colorado.
"We wanted to show our community we’re committed to strengthening causes near home,” Jennifer Hinderliter, the director of Local Change, said in a statement. “We’ll keep bringing people and resources together to respond to local needs.”
Commitment Remains
The organization said Local Change’s team and core operations will stay the same and that it remains committed to providing scholarships for local students, grants to community nonprofits and emergency disaster relief.
“With the support of Elevations Credit Union members and Colorado communities, the foundation has provided over $4 million community resources since it was established in 2010,” it reported.
