Filer CU Completes Acquisition of Manistee Public Employees

MANISTEE, Mich.—Filer Credit Union here said it has completed absorbing Manistee Public Employees CU via a merger, with regulators and members having signed off on the deal.

MPECU had just 300 members and $1 million in assets. Filer has approximately $118 million in assets and 8,500 members.
