Financial Center First CU Names Ning Duong CEO

INDIANAPOLIS--The $890-million Financial Center First Credit Union has selected Ning Duong to serve as its new CEO.

"Financial Center stands on a strong foundation of service, innovation, and commitment to our members. Ning Duong brings exceptional leadership experience and a proven track record of operational excellence that aligns perfectly with our strategic vision,” said Tom Spahr, Financial Center board chair. “Under her guidance, we are confident Financial Center will continue to grow stronger, deliver greater value to our members, and enhance our impact in the communities we serve."

Duong will officially join the credit union on Feb. 2, succeeding former CEO Kevin Ryan. Ryan has been acting as interim president and CEO since August 2025 while a national search was conducted to replace the most recent president and CEO, Cameron Minges, who retired on Dec. 31. Duong was placed by DDJ Myers.

A seasoned credit union executive with more than 25 years of industry experience, Duong has built a career leading diverse cross-functional teams across branches, business banking, business and community development, contact centers, digital delivery, human resources, marketing and communications, operations, and technology. Most recently, Duong served as EVP, Chief Operating Officer at Credit Union West, where she played a central role in strategy, member experience, and organizational growth.

“I am honored to be joining Financial Center First Credit Union. The credit union’s rich history and enduring commitment to its mission, core values, and people strongly resonate with me. I look forward to working in partnership with the Board and team to build on the strong foundation already in place,” says Duong. “Bob, Deedee, Jacki, and the entire DDJ Myers team delivered an exceptional experience. They were thorough, candid, and highly communicative, and their structured process reflected a deep respect for both the role and the people involved,” said Duong.
