GRAND RAPIDS, Mich.—One of the primary reasons The Finest Federal Credit Union was able to officially open its doors last week is that is operating with free data processing services for the first two years of its life.
Finest Federal, which has been chartered to serve nearly 75,000 employees of federal, state, county, and municipal agencies and departments engaged in police service in New York City, is leveraging the “Starting a Credit Union with CU*Answers” program, which provides free CU*BASE data processing services for new credit unions for an initial two-year period.
“We realize that data processing is a key component to every credit union’s ability to succeed,” said CU*Answers EVP Scott Page. “This program is a direct reflection of CU*Answers’ cooperative commitment for doing all we can to financially assist every new credit union. That means providing the best opportunity for attracting members by providing a high level of service, including an array of self-service products as part of the offering.”
CU*Answers is a 100% credit union-owned cooperative CUSO providing services to credit unions representing over 1.7 million members and $15.7 billion in assets.
