CANTON, Ohio–St. Joseph’s FCU here today is once again sponsoring the Fourth Grade Foresters Project in conjunction with Arbor Day. As a result, 335 12” to 18” tree seedlings will be distributed to fourth graders for replanting.
“As a sponsor of this project, STJ underwrites the cost of getting evergreen trees that the 4th grade students at Our Lady of Peace, St. Joan of Arc, Louisville Elementary and St. Michael’s will then plant,” said CEO Carl Huthmacher. “Trees are vital to our society for many reasons not the least of which is providing paper that is used to print money.”
