DUBLIN, Ohio—The Healthcare Credit Union System, which is the registered trade name for Ohio HealthCare FCU, is supporting local Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals with every loan it opens in 2016.
The credit union has introduced the “We Care Loan” to its community in an effort to promote its loan products while supporting the healthcare community it serves, the CU stated.
Every loan opened at the credit union in 2016 delivers a corporate donation to a local Children’s Miracle Network hospital. The receiving hospital will be determined by the loan recipient’s home address. HCUS has set a $20,000 donation goal by year’s end. The program’s progress can be tracked at www.WeCareLoan.com.
“We have a motto at our credit union. It’s ‘We Care Because You Care’,” said Bill Butler, president of HCUS. “As a credit union that serves the healthcare industry, our existence is based on caring. We care for our members. Our members care for the sick and injured. Our ‘We Care Loan’ initiative allows us to ALL care for our community.”
We Care Loan donations will be honored for all loans disbursed by the Healthcare Credit Union System in 2016. HCUS serves more than 12,000 healthcare professionals and their families, primarily in Ohio.
