For First Time in Decades, League Will Open In New Space

PLANO, Texas–The Cornerstone Credit Union League will begin operating today from new offices for the first time in more than 30 years.

The league has moved to new offices here after decades in a building that was something of a local landmark known as the Texas Credit Union Center at 4455 LBJ Freeway, which was once home to the Texas CU League, Southwest Corporate and numerous affiliated companies, in Farmers Branch, Texas. The building bore witness to a great deal of credit union history, including the Texas league’s high-profile and effective response during the fight to get HR 1151 passed in the late 1990s.

Effective today, the Cornerstone league—which represents CUs in Texas, Oklahoma and Arkansas, will have new office space at 6801 Parkwood Blvd., Suite 300
Plano, TX 75024.
