For the Love Of…? TAPCO CU Introduces New Tagline

TACOMA, Wash.–Following two years of research, discussion and work, TAPCO Credit Union has introduced a new tagline: “For the Love of People.”

According to the Northwest CU Association, TAPCO’s senior management team originally tasked its employees with developing a new mission statement for the credit union. The NWCUA quoted Marketing Director Amy Tolzmann as saying employees came back with a statement that was “all about the people. It embodies the spirit of the people helping people philosophy.”

TAPCO acknowledged that while “For the Love of People” may not be a tagline other financial providers would select, it is appropriate for a credit union.

The $300-million TAPCO has now refreshed its branches and messaging, including with a new logo, all of which tie back to “For the Love of People.”
