FAYETTEVILLE, N.C.βOne credit union is hiding gift cards all over town here, and giving clues to the community on its social media sites.
Fort Bragg FCU has kicked off a scavenger hunt, and each day the $393-million CUs posts clues on its LinkedIn, Facebook, Twitter and Google Plus accounts. Prizes range from $25 to $100, with a grand prize giveaway of $500.
"We'll post the clues daily,β Marketing Assistant Vanessa Pillmore told ABC11.com. "Whoever gets there first wins.β
The CU said the social media contest is a way to let people know the credit union serves more than the military.
"We wanted the community to know that Fort Bragg Federal Credit Union, while we're highly military, we're not just military," said Andrew Reiff, marketing director. "We also love to give back to the community.β
The contest runs through May 1.
