ORONO, Maine—Brenda Davis has once again completed her walk through all of Maine’s 16 counties as part of the Maine Credit Union League’s Campaign for Ending Hunger.

At the conclusion of the walk, at University Credit Union here, Davis was given a check for more than $2,000 which will be donated to local food pantries. Davis, director of a food agency in Old Town, Maine, spent 41 days trekking across the state to raise awareness and funds.

Since 1990 the Maine league and the state’s credit unions have raised more than $5 million to help fight hunger.
