BETHPAGE, N.Y.—Bethpage FCU has named Wayne Grossé as its new president and CEO.
Grossé, who has been with Bethpage in senior executive management roles for more than 15 years, was named interim CEO in October 2014, when CEO Kirk Kordeleski stepped down due to health reasons.
“After a deliberative process and review of potential candidates, we believe that Wayne Grossé has the vision, leadership abilities and financial industry experience to continue the fiscal strength and integrity of Bethpage Federal Credit Union and its $5.8 billion in assets moving forward,” said Board Chairman Don Balducci.
“I am appreciative of the great trust and confidence the board of directors has placed in me,” said Grossé in a statement. “With 33 branch locations, 60 shared service centers and over 425 surcharge-free ATMs throughout Nassau and Suffolk, we will continue to grow and enhance the value and convenience provided to our members.”
Grossé, 56, joined Bethpage in 1999 and has served most recently as COO. As lead member of the executive management team, he oversaw Bethpage’s growth into the largest credit union on Long Island and now the largest in New York State, BFCU said. Grossé is chair-elect of the Family Service League and serves on the Farmingdale State College Foundation.
