Health Care CU Now Ripple

OSHKOSH, Wis.—Health Care Credit Union has changed its name to Ripple CU.

The $335-million organization said it made the decision to move to a new name and the brand to let the communities it serves know the CU is open to all residents.

In 2014, the CU’s membership voted to open the charter to anyone living or working in Winnebago, Outagamie, or Fond du lac counties, Insight On Business said.

The new name selection and tagline “Small Waves. Big Possibilities” reflect the credit union’s philosophy that small, positive changes can have a profound ripple effect on the financial health of its members, the CU said.

The name also pays homage to the area’s surrounding lakes and waterways and the positive ripple effect the credit union’s members experience as a membership and community organization, Insight On Business said.

“We are excited about the brand and name change as it reflects how we have grown over recent years,” said Ripple President Danielle Hilbert. “While we remain a community based credit union, we are looking to continue our growth and be inclusive in our community to continue to serve our members. We believe the new brand better represents who we are in terms of how we respond to our membership’s needs and our openness to anyone looking to become a member.”
