Heartland CU Association Announces New (And First-Ever) CEO

WICHITA, Kan.–The Heartland Credit Union Association has hired its first CEO. The relatively new association, which represents a merger of the Kansas and Missouri leagues, has named Brad Douglas as its new leader.

He succeeds Marla Marsh and Don Cohenour, the retiring presidents of the Kansas and Missouri CU leagues, respectively.

Douglas is an attorney who has in the past served as both a chairman of and member of the board at CommunityAmerica CreditUnion in Kansas City, Mo. He has also served as senior VP with the Greater Kansas City Community Foundation. Most recently he was VP with Alliance Benefit Group in Kansas City.

As CUToday.info reported here, the Heartland CU Association has also just rolled out new branding.
