CHICAGO–At the suggestion of a CUToday.info reader, we are now offering to send to credit union volunteers the News Headlines in Review e-mail that is sent each Friday afternoon and which summarizes all of the week’s reporting.
These board members will not be sent the Fresh Today news briefing that is sent each morning; just the end-of-week compilation of news headlines as reported in CUToday.info.
A reader of CUToday.info made the request, explaining that she did not wish to overwhelm her board and asking if we could send just the Friday news summation.
“This is a great example of how reader feedback and input can be invaluable,” noted CUToday.info Cooperator in Chief Frank J. Diekmann. “As the reader also noted, this is a very cost-effective means of ensuring the board is educated and up-to-date, without the high expense associated with having to subscribe to one of the older, legacy print publications. Thanks to the support of our Collaborators and advertisers, CUToday.info is free.”
CUToday.info does not sell or rent its mailing list. Those credit unions wishing to add board members and other volunteers to the Friday News in Review mailing list should provide names and e-mail addresses to Diekmann at Frank@CUToday.info. As always, board members have the option of opting-out at any time.
