Acadia FCU
BREWER, Maine–Regulators have given the green light to EMMC FCU here and Acadia FCU in Fort Kent, Maine, to move forward with a planned merger. Next up is a Sept. 26 vote on the combination by members of EMMC FCU.
If approved, the $49.5-million EMMCFCU will merge into the $155-million Acadia FCU, which was created in 1963 by the merger of six small community CUs. The combined CU would have approximately 15,000 members.
