Indiana Members Donates $150K To IUPIU

INDIANAPOLIS–Indiana Members Credit Union has given a gift of $150,000 to Indiana University-Purdue University Indianapolis.

The gift was accepted by Chancellor Nasser H. Paydar in support of the IUPUI Chancellor's Circle. It is the largest gift to the IUPUI Chancellor's Circle in the 25-year history of the fund.

"Unrestricted gifts such as this are particularly valuable in that they allow campus leadership to respond quickly to a wide variety of opportunities and needs," Paydar said. "I am especially pleased about this gift because the IMCU is such an important and longstanding part of the IUPUI community."

"Indiana Members Credit Union and IUPUI are inextricably linked. We were founded on IUPUI's campus in 1956, and our partnership has grown ever since. It's a relationship we take great pride in," said Ron Collier, president and chief executive officer of Indiana Members Credit Union, in a statement. "As IMCU celebrates our 60th anniversary, we're looking back at all we've accomplished and looking forward to the future, a future in which our relationship with Chancellor Paydar and IUPUI will continue to flourish."
