SACRAMENTO, Calif.— Incumbent Rep. Ami Bera, a former CU board member, was leading challenger Doug Ose by 711 votes in Seventh Congressional District race in the latest count released yesterday.
That’s a reversal of the numbers to date, when Bera has been trailing Ose by as many as 2,000 votes just days earlier. The race has not yet been called, however, as thousands more ballots still need to be counted, according to election officials.
