REDLANDS, Calif.–RaAnn Wood has been named president and chief executive officer of Alta Vista Credit Union.
From 2008-2013 Wood was California deputy commissioner of the Office of Credit Unions at the Department of Business Oversight, formerly the Department of Financial Institutions. Prior to that, for four years Wood was CEO of California Center Credit Union, and prior to that was with the California Credit Union League where she served as the professional networks manager in the education and training department following six years with the League’s research and information department.
Wood’s career with credit unions began in 1975 and she has since worked with thrift and loan companies, savings banks and in mortgage banking.
