WESTBROOK, Maine–Maine’s credit unions have stepped up to the podium with several new ads that are running in conjunction with the Olympics.
The ads, part of the Maine Credit Unions’ Statewide Awareness Campaign, seek to “utilize the enthusiasm to showcase the value of credit unions to people across Maine,” according to the Maine Credit Union League.
Two new ads have begun running on TV, social media, and over-the-top (OTT) – i.e. YouTube, HULU, etc. – and are to continue through the closing of the Olympic games on Aug. 11.
Each ad is 15-seconds and “demonstrate” how Maine credit unions can help people achieve their financial dreams.
The ads can be found here and here.
The MCUL is also encouraging the state’s CUs to videos on their websites and/or social media accounts.
A ‘Win-Win’
“There is so much excitement surrounding the Olympics and many Mainers will be tuning in to follow their favorite athletes compete to bring home a medal,” Mike Rosmus, creative marketing manager at the Maine Credit Union League and Synergent, said in a statement. “Highlighting the benefits of credit union membership during this special time with such a captivated audience is a win-win.”
