ST. LOUIS—A man disguised as a woman robbed a branch of Vantage Credit Union here.
The crook, a Caucasian man, wore a long wig, heavy face makeup, a black heavy coat, and had red painted finger nails.
He entered the Lemay Ferry Road office of the $736-million CU, handed a note to a teller, and demanded money. He did not show or imply a weapon, but left the credit union with an undisclosed amount of cash.
The suspect was last seen driving a silver/gray Nissan Maxima.
Vantage is based in Bridgeton, Mo.
